William P. Friel  attended Saint Leo College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management in 1985.  Upon completion of his Business degree, he was accepted into the Police Academy in Polk County, Florida.  Mr. Friel completed his Law Enforcement training, graduated and was subsequently hired by the Lakeland Police Department in 1986. Along with working full time in Law Enforcement, Mr. Friel attended Barry University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree in 2002. After graduating with his Law degree and retirement with the Lakeland Police Department, Mr. Friel was hired as an Assistant State Attorney with assignments as a trial attorney in Domestic Violence, Misdemeanor, and Felony Divisions.  Mr. Friel concentrates his practice in personal injury, criminal law, family law and general civil litigation.
